Francis Gilbert, Tax lawyer

Francis is a tax lawyer who completed a Bachelor of Law degree and a graduate degree in taxation at the University of Sherbrooke. He has been practicing tax law and corporate law for over 12 years. His years of experience have allowed him to diversify his expertise and to respond effectively to his clients' needs.


His practice is mainly focused on tax planning, such as corporate reorganization, the establishment of trusts, asset protection structures, as well as transactional files, including the purchase and sale of businesses or buildings, mergers, employee integration, transfers to children, etc. He is sometimes called upon to plead as an expert witness in court.


Francis is known for his ability to find solutions and to explain legal and tax concepts to his clients, thus enabling them to understand the issues and make informed decisions.
